Rob McMenamin

Rob McMenamin has worked in the leisure, attractions and entertainment industry for over 15 years, at single, multi-site and multi-regional level. Initially in various health club and spa operational roles in the United Kingdom before moving into the entertainment and attractions side of the industry with an industry expertise in family entertainment.

Rob joined Majid Al Futtaim in 2012 as an Operations Manager of a single attraction in Dubai. Over his 10 years with the company, he has moved through various teams and positions to his current role as Director of Leisure and Entertainment within the Leisure, Entertainment and Cinema division. In this role he oversees Majid Al Futtaim’s whole Leisure and Entertainment portfolio, which includes over 50 sites in 8 regions of the MENA region, with brands such as Magic Planet Family Entertainment Centers, Little Explorers Edutainment venues, iFly Dubai, Yalla! Bowling and finally Dreamscape, the world’s leading VR experience centre in Mall of the Emirates.

Rob is currently working on the delivery of a major new entertainment project of multiple new leisure attractions to roll out to the MENA region, starting in Majid Al Futtaim’s flagship Mall of the Emirates, Dubai.
